Benedict v City of Albuquerque

A collective action lawsuit has been filed and certified by the Court against the City of Albuquerque pursuant to the New Mexico Fair Pay for Women Act. The lawsuit seeks equivalent pay and other benefits, including retirement and overtime pay, for female employees who worked for the City from November 28, 2016, until July 31, 2023. These employees were paid less than men for the same work in violation of the law.
